Flight of Teas! December 30th & 31st

Hello all! We hope you tea fans had a fabulous holiday this past weekend. As we say goodbye to 2011 and welcome the new year, this weekend we will be serving a flight of just good ol' enjoyable teas: White Fairy, Nahorhabi Full, & Yerba Mate.

Picked from the Hunan Province, White Fairy is a white tea with big green twists, creating a slightly sweet but stronger brew. Quickly becoming a favorite amongst the staff of our white tea selection, this delicate but highly caffeinated tea will become a favorite of yours too!

This full-leaf Assam, picked from the estate of Nahorhabi holds a toasted malt flavor with aromas of a cooked honey. Lighter in body than our broken leaf Assams, Nahorhabi Full is an enjoyable Indian tea that is for those who enjoy the bite of Assams, but a little less astringency.

Yerba Mate is a South American beverage, holding a tradition of being enjoyed by gauchos (cowboys) in Argentina. The twist? Though Mate is in the herbal family, it does still contain caffeine! Similar in flavor to a green, this tisane has a grassy and vegetal aroma and taste.

*Our flight is being served on Friday and Saturday. We are closed for New Years Day! See everyone in 2012!
